Boosie Badazz has had enough of the poor officiating in the NBA and he’s taken to social media to vent about the state of refereeing in the league.
On Monday night (November 13), Boosie took to Twitter calling out referees for handing out technical fouls just for players either hanging on the rim after a thunderous slam dunk or staring down their opponent in the process.

“THE NBA NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE TECHINACAL FOULS FOR DUNKING N STARING AFTER THE DUNK SMH YALL TAKING AWAY FROM THE GAME N THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE ATHLETES,” he wrote. “ITS OUT OF CONTROL AT THIS POINT. PLAYERS N FANS DESERVE BETTER.”
These types of calls can disrupt the flow of a game and seem to be a point of emphasis this year with the league. Former NBA player Austin Rivers put the officials on blast as he believes these kinds of whistles need to come to an end. Rivers’ tweet seemed to strike a cord with NBA fans around the country.

“Can we stop giving guys techs for stare downs…it’s stupid and takes away from the game. Happened again tonight with Ant. Yall want guys to compete and play with an edge,” Rivers wrote in line with Boosie Badazz’s sentiments. “It’s all passion nothing personal. Stop that Bs.”

This is far from Boosie Badazz’s first beef with the NBA or its officials. Over the weekend, he voiced his frustration with some of the referees’ calls in crunch time for the Atlanta Hawks-Miami Heat game which saw ATL lose 117-109 at home. Boosie was courtside making his presence known.
“Ref you suck,” he was videotaped chanting from the crowd.

He later added in a postgame rant walking out of State Farm Arena: “I gotta make this announcement. We got cheated by the referees tonight. I’m so disappointed by the refs tonight. Only person that called a good game was the tall guy with the bald head … Referees called a bad game.”
Boosie appears to be on thin ice as it stands with the NBA. Last December, he claimed he was threatened by the State Farm Arena staff to stop communicating with the players or he’d be kicked out.
“I’m motivation to the players,” he explained. “Even the players on the other team we joking man, them my partners. Like I pay good money to sit where I sit, that ain’t right, bruh. I can’t just sit down the whole game and not say nothing. I’m ADHD. I need the Hawks to tell them I’m good people, man.”
Trae Young got wind of Boosie’s plea for help and the Hawks superstar backed the rapper and said that there are many worse-behaved fans so he doesn’t understand why Boosie is being targeted.
