Boosie Badazz is still having issues getting free from jail despite being granted bond by a judge, and he’s putting all the blame on a San Diego prosecutor who he says has it out for him.
On Tuesday (June 20), the rapper’s request for bond in his latest gun case was approved and set at $50,000. However, federal prosecutors have been making it very difficult for the Baton Rouge native to execute the bond, filing a motion to keep him in custody until trial.

Although the judge ended up denying their request, San Diego prosecutors have appealed the decision to grant Boosie Badazz bond again, and he’s not happy about it, taking to Twitter late Wednesday night (June 21) to accuse one of the prosecutors, Mr. Michael Wheat, of misconduct.
“After the judge has granted me a bond, and I paid my full cash amount the prosecution refuse to respect the judges decision to let me go,” he wrote. “They showed no evidence of me being a flight risk or a danger to the community.”

Boosie then accused Wheat of mocking him by singing his 2007 hit “Wipe Me Down” at him while dusting off his shoulders with “evil in his eyes.” “This is total misconduct from a prosecutor,” he said. “He is racist and has evil intentions. Now they filed an appeal asking another judge to keep me in prison.”
With a decision on his bond set to be made on Thursday (June 22), Boosie has asked all “prayer warriors” to pray Mr. Wheat is removed from the case, while also urging all fans in San Diego to stop by the courtroom to protest his alleged actions.

“I need the people of San Diego outside the court tomorrow to protest the injustice that is being done to me,” Boosie continued. “I need ALL prayer warriors across the world to pray this southern district of California remove Mr. wheat and this prosecution off my case. Even my attorneys have never seen nothing like this in their career. Help Me Fight this Injustice and say a prayer for my freedom tomorrow.”

The Baton Rouge rapper (real name Torrence Hatch Jr.) has been behind bars since last week when he was nabbed by feds while exiting a courtroom in San Diego, CA. He had just had a separate gun case dismissed by a judge, but the victory was short-lived as he was arrested as soon as he stepped out the building.
It was later revealed that Boosie was being held on multiple gun charges, including “felony possession of a firearm and transporting firearms across highways.” His original request for bond was denied.
According to federal court documents, which were obtained by TMZ on Friday (June 16), the “Wipe Me Down” rapper earned himself an indictment thanks to some ill-advised Instagram Live posts.
In the posts, Boosie Badazz can be seen tucking a gun into the waistband of his jeans. The posts, which were originally made last month, were essentially what got Boosie in trouble as Federal law prohibits convicted felons from carrying and/or owning guns.

Right after his federal arrest, Boosie’s team issued a statement to XXL. “Boosie asks for prayers as he deals with this unfortunate circumstance in his life. He hopes that he can rejoin his family soon and knows that God got him.”
He added an apology for his actions on Twitter: “I wanna take this time to apologize to my kids. I’m sorry and I love y’all forever.”
