Boosie Badazz and Lil Duval have decided not to let the Baton Rouge rapper’s legal predicament get them down, preferring to poke fun at Boosie’s current limited freedom by performing a new social media dance.
Taking to his Instagram on Sunday (June 2), the comedian and sometime rapper posted a video of him and Boosie performing what they’re calling the Ankle Monitor Dance.

“New dance alert! You gotta be on probation to [do] it tho,” Lil Duval captioned the video.
Lil Duval and Boosie can be seen tap-dancing and laughing as Lil Duval sings, “if you know where you’re at, do the ankle monitor!” Check it out below.
Late last month, Boosie Badazz was released on bond after spending a little over a week in jail, and he released a brand new album to celebrate the moment.
It’s unclear, however, whether the “Wipe Me Down” rapper was required to wear an ankle monitor as a condition of his release.
Taking to Instagram in the early hours of June 24 morning, the Baton Rogue rapper, who appeared with a thicker goatee and Boosie fade, couldn’t contain his excitement in a video announcing his freedom.
“He’s Baaaaaack!,” Boosie screamed into the camera. “I want to thank God, I got cherries on my knees I prayed so much. My family, all the prayer warriors, everybody who came to San Diego to support me. Yeaaaah! Boosie Boo! Yeaaaah!”

“BET I need three tickets! I’ll go to the BET Awards, but I gotta go with my attorneys,” he continued, referencing the 2023 BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Upon somebody screaming “Badazz,” once they saw the 40-year-old rapper, he reaffirmed himself toward the fan by saying, “Dat’s me! Boosie Badazz! Dat’s me n-gga! I’m out! Dat’s me!”

He then screamed his name a few more times into the camera while proclaiming that he’s back and made sure to mention that his new album titled First Day Back is “pressure.”
In a few of his other IG posts, Boosie celebrated by getting himself a meal at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and spoke about his criminal record not being as bad as people think.

As for Lil Duval, he recently made headlines when he begged the legendary Dionne Warwick to step in the middle of the Babyface-Anita Baker beef — but the “Heartbreaker” singer wasn’t having it.
On June 13, the comedian took Twitter, with the hopes that the legendary singer would be able offer any help.”Hey @dionnewarwick can u squash this baby face Anita baker beef for us please,” he wrote.

However, the following day, the Grammy Hall of Fame winner made it clear that the situation was not any of her business. “Baby, that ain’t got nothing to do with me,” she tweeted.
