Birdman has given former Hot BoyB.G. his long-overdue flowers, while also promising that fans can expect some new Cash Money heat in the process.

In a reel posted to Instagram on Saturday (September 9), Birdman put a composite together of all the trials and tribulations that his signee faced before — and during — his prison sentence, before concluding it with jubilation around B.G.’s release. He also implied, in the caption, that B.G. would soon be releasing new music.

Birdman joined The 85 South Show on Friday (September 8) where he confirmed that the former Hot Boys rapper will once again be a member of the Cash Money family following his release from prison earlier this week.

“For the record, I just want n-ggas to know that my n-gga [B.G.] official Cash Money — ain’t no cap in that,” Birdman declared.

“Ya heard me? Ain’t nobody he can ever sign with beside this shit. I’m bringing all this shit together. B.G. signed to Cash Money so y’all don’t got to hear it from nowhere else.”

Birdman’s comments may have possibly been aimed at fellow Southern rap mogul Gucci Mane, who last year offered to give B.G. a $1 million record deal upon his release from prison.
