“Soon as you see me I up it, I’m gone/ I’m really livin’ the shit in my song/ Glock in my bag and it don’t got a safety/I make the money, I don’t let it make me,” BIA raps on the track.
In the accompanying video, she also pays homage to Missy’s iconic futuristic Hype Williams-directed visual. You can check it out below.
“She’s a Bitch” was the debut single on Missy’s second studio album Da Real World, which was released in June 1999. It debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming Elliott’s second album to have a Top 10 debut and stayed on the chart for a total of 39 weeks.
Ahead of BIA’s version being released, the “WHOLE LOTTA MONEY” rapper teased the track via Instagram and revealed that Timbaland had given her the green light.

Prior to sampling Missy’s track, BIA had previously collaborated with her and Doechii on a David Guetta and Afrojack produced song, “Trampoline.”
In 2017, Ski Mask The Slump God remixed “She’s a Bitch” for his own version, “Catch Me Outside,” off his second mixtape You Will Regret. Missy Elliott gave Ski Mask her blessings and co-signed the record on Twitter in 2017, explaining how her song has withstood the test of time.
