6ix9ine‘s girlfriend, Yailin La Más Viral, has been charged with felony assault following the release of footage of the couple in a physical altercation.

She was charged with felony battery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, obstruction of justice, and criminal damage to property worth $1000 or more. A surety bond of $9,000 was posted for her by record producer Santiago “Alofoke” Matias, courtesy of 561 Bail Bonds.
Footage from the “GUMMO” rapper’s Instagram seemed to capture the argument in real time. The story, which was posted shortly before Yailin was arrested, began with 6ix9ine writing — in Spanish — that “Yailin needs help,” and that he was remaining quiet about the whole situation until he could no longer do so for her protection.

Later in the video, the pair can be seen arguing extensively, and at one point, Yailin uses a 2 x 6 to smash 6ix9ine’s phone out of his hand. The pair can also be seen tussling with one another before Yailin is carted off to jail.

He, in turn, denied the allegations in a lengthy video posted to Instagram on Thursday (December 14), in which he spoke in Spanish.
“Yailin is not well, she needs help,” the Brooklyn native said. “Yailin was loved, she was cared for. I’m on probation, I would never lay my hands on a woman.”
He added: “I’m not here to create gossip, I’m here to clear my name and ask that this matter be dealt with responsibly.”
6ix9ine also posted a clip of Yailin confronting him with a knife and also released other videos of her attacking him and damaging his car.

The “GUMMO” rapper claimed he was trying to protect his partner and wanted the matter kept private.
There had earlier been photos posted online of Yailin with a bruised and bloody face. She initially denied that 6ix9ine was responsible for injuring her, claiming the wounds were from a traffic accident.

She also blamed her former assistant for circulating the photos after the two parted ways and fell out.
Yailin later said on a local radio station that the 6ix9ine was, in fact, responsible for causing the injuries.
