6ix9ine doesn’t miss a chance to insert himself into controversy and he’s shared a few thoughts about Young Thug‘s co-defendants taking plea deals in the YSL RICO case.

After cooperating with authorities and earning a favorable plea deal, Tekashi believes he’s taken far more heat from the Hip Hop community for his alleged snitching compared to what has recently transpired with Gunna and other YSL affiliates regaining their freedom.

“Why Everybody so quiet,” he asked in a series of Instagram Story posts on Thursday (December 22). “When it was me everyone had something to say LMAO Rappers all of a sudden don’t got opinions because it’s y’all friends.”

He continued in response to YSL Obama’s alleged plea deal: “15 years probation for attempted murder/conspiracy LMFAOO Probation for attempted murder is crazy people doing more time for smoking weed Like what?”

6ix9ine was plagued by snitching allegations after cooperating with authorities in the trial against Brooklyn’s Nine Trey gang. He reached a plea deal in February 2019 sentencing him to two years in prison with time served after potentially facing 47 years on an array of conspiracy charges.

YSL co-defendant Antonio Sumlin, who is also known as Obama, is reportedly the latest YSL affiliate to receive a plea deal. He allegedly sought permission from Thugger for a second attempt to murder rival YFN Lucci while behind bars where Lucci was stabbed in March.

Young Thug’s brother, Unfoonk, Gunna as well as Slimelife Shawty (Winnie Lee)Lil Duke (Martinez Arnold) and YSL co-founder Walter Murphy have also taken plea deals, bringing the number of defendants down to 22 ahead of the January 9 trial.

Gunna and his legal team entered an Alford plea earlier this month where he plead guilty to one charge because it was in his best interest to do so.

As a result, Gunna was sentenced to five years with one served in prison where he was since being arrested in May as part of the YSL indictment headlined by Thugger. The four-year sentence left will reportedly be “suspended” and Gunna will serve the rest in the form of 500 hours of community service.

“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” Gunna said in a statement at the time.

“My focus of YSL was entertainment — rap artists who wrote and performed music that exaggerated and ‘glorified’ urban life in the Black community.”

6ix9ine previously took aim and taunted Gunna for accepting the plea deal in an Instagram Story last week.

“Just stfu and listen I know ya don’t wanna accept it[.] Your man is fighting for his life in court on a gang RICO,” he wrote while referring to Gunna as “Fatass Gunna.”
