50 Cent has revealed that the Power universe he’s created at STARZ will expand once again, despite the fact that another series in the franchise is coming to an end.
On Thursday (June 13), the G-Unit Films and Television mogul took to Instagram, where he shared a message from actor Joseph Sikora — who has played played the roll of Tommy Egan since the original Power series — confirming that Power Book IV: Force will be ending after its upcoming third season.

But, from what the actor conveyed, the decision to bring the series to a close came from its creators, and not from executives at the premium network.
“When Gary Lennon and the other writers and I were mapping out our third season, we saw that we were telling a complete story,” Sikora said. “And that this was the perfect opportunity to stay true to our artistic vision and make this the final chapter in Tommy’s journey in Chicago. But don’t worry, Tommy’s journey is far from over with. We’re just getting warmed up and I can’t wait to show you what we have planned next. […] Tune in, ’cause ghosts never die, and power never ends.”

Along with the video, which Varietyreports was also shared on the official Instagram accounts for STARZ, Power, and Sikora himself, 50 confirmed the expansion news, without offering too many other details.
“Im glad all the fans have been so supportive of FORCE,” he wrote, “we have more heat coming, my Power Universe is still expanding… wait till you see what I have up my sleeve, you haven’t seen the last of Tommy…… [bomb emoji] BOOM”
Just months after the third season of Power Book IV was announced in December, showrunner Gary Lennon renewed his deal with Lionsgate Television to continue being part of the creative team behind 50’s long-running franchise.
That same month, as that creative team revealed that Power Book II: Ghost would be wrapping after its fourth season, conversation started around a new prequel called Origins.
On March 13, the G-Unit boss announced that the critically acclaimed Power franchise is being developed further with a spin-off centered on the original show’s leading characters.
“You asked, I answered,” he captioned an Instagram post in which he revealed that a prequel project is in the works. “Young Ghost and Tommy coming your way. Power Origins now in development.”
