50 Cent has admitted that he’s indifferent if fans of Power Book II: Ghost stream the show illegally, as he just wants people to tune in to the new season regardless.

Ahead of its March 17 premiere on STARZ, 50 posted the action-packed trailer for season three on social media and hyped it up as must-see TV — by any means necessary.

“Now you already know I don’t care how you watch this but you gotta see this,” he wrote alongside a clip of Mary J. Blige’s character Monet vowing to avenge her son’s murder. “I don’t care if you got a jail broke fire stick. check me out.”

The latest teaser for Power Book II: Ghost, which was recently renewed for a fourth season, arrived on February 16. The show follows Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.), who is trying to outrun the legacy of his father, James St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), while making it out of the drug game alive.

Its star-studded cast also includes Method Man, who recently won his third NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series thanks to his role as the criminal defense attorney Davis MacLean.

“@methodmanofficial is no joke, he was always #1 in Wu Tang to me but he has transitioned into something that has to be celebrated” 50 Cent wrote on Instagram last month while celebrating Meth’s victory. “This train won’t stop, shout out to @naacp for recognizing and the ZARS network.”

The green light for a fourth season of Power Book II: Ghost came after 50 Cent announced he’d be moving his TV ventures to FOX as part of a new deal with the network, following the conclusion of his STARZ partnership last year.

Power Book II: Ghost continues to resonate with our viewers and we’re thrilled to get season four production underway ahead of our season three debut,” Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming for STARZ, said in a statement. “It’s clear our fans are ready to devour more of this explosive series and we look forward to having [Michael Ealy] join our incredible cast.”

The G-Unit leader turned media mogul has continued to expand the Power universe to impressive lengths. He dropped another spin-off in 2021 titled Power Book IV: Force and even recorded the spin-off’s theme song.

Since the new series followed Tommy Egan departing New York for Chicago following Ghost’s death, 50 Cent grabbed two of Chicago’s biggest stars to help pen the theme: Lil Durk and Jeremih.

The Queens, New York native also announced earlier this year that one of his next projects would be an 8 Mile TV series to help further Eminem’s “legacy,” although details at the moment remain scarce.

“I’m gonna bring, 8 Mile to television,” 50 said in a radio interview, confirming that Slim Shady is aware of his plans.

“We in motion,” he added after being asked what stage of production the show is in. “It’s gonna be big. I’m working. I ain’t got no duds. I’m batting 100 … I think it should be there for [Eminem’s] legacy because it’s important to me that they understand it.”
