50 Cent has joined the chorus of New York Knicks fans angry at Ja Rule for allegedly cursing the NBA team.
50, who needs no excuse to take a shot at his longtime rival, caught wind of Ja lifting the NBA Championship before the Knicks had won it, which is considered bad luck.

It was a view echoed by Knicks fans everywhere who were unimpressed with the “Always on Time” rapper’s actions, particularly with the long-suffering team currently enjoying a good playoffs run.
Prior to the Knicks’ win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday (May 8), which gave them a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals, Ja Rule was filmed lifting and kissing the trophy and saying: “Champions only, baby. Let’s go Knicks!”

This was echoed by another Knicks fan who wrote: “knicks players started dropping like flies. i hate this n-gga.”
The Knicks have not won the NBA Championship since 1973 and have not made the Finals since 1999 when they were crushed by a Tim Duncan-led San Antonio Spurs.
This is not the first time that Ja Rule has been accused of cursing an NBA team.
In 2019, he said he was placing a curse on both the Minnesota Timberwolves and Sacramento Kings after a disastrous halftime performance was widely mocked by fans.

“You just jinx yourself talking to the GOD this way… your CURSED NOW!!!” he wrote on X (then Twitter) in response to one critic. “You won’t win a championship for the next 30 years… AND KAT IS LEAVING!!! Apologise and I’ll lift the CURSE!!! Kiss of death.”
After the Kings’ social media admin joked: “Where is Ja?,” the rapper directed his powers at that team as well: “Shout out to the base God… @LILBTHEBASEDGOD I’ve channeled my curse powers from him… @SacramentoKings WILL NEVER WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP EVER.”
