50 Cent has never shied away from making fun of his peers, so it should come as no surprise that Fredo Starr’s claims about influencing Michael Jordan’s aesthetic made it on the New York MC’s latest blooper reel.
On Wednesday (September 13), Fif shared a clip from a VladTV interview the Onyx rapper did earlier this year. During the two-hour chat, he asserted that his group inspired the Chicago Bulls superstar to go bald in the ’90s.
“Michael Jordan cut his hair bald because of Onyx,” he claimed. “Do the knowledge, n-gga. I know for a fact — what year did Michael Jordan cut his hair bald?”

Though Starr didn’t elaborate on how the two were connected, 50 wasn’t the least bit convinced of its validity.
“Ooo nah this is [cap emoji],” he wrote next to the footage of Starr punctuated with meme reactions. “I’m not gonna say anything because i don’t have too. LOL [facepalm emoji] SMH [confused emoji] WTF is wrong with these guys ?”
It’s important to note that 50 Cent and Onyx go way back, with the group giving the future mogul his start with a feature on their 1998 track, “React.” Both acts were signed to Jam Master Jay‘s label in the ’90s, but Fif left the imprint after a brief stint. His relationship with his fellow Queens MCs soured after that, culminating with him getting into a physical altercation with Fredo Starr.
Prior to his MJ comments, Starr even addressed the rumor that 2Pac shaved his head after seeing Onyx rock that look. To that, he responded: “Probably that, and probably his hairline was receding. No disrespect to ‘Pac, but that n-gga hairline was — y’know what I mean? You saw Juice, n-gga, y’know what I mean? I would’ve cut my shit bald too.

“I’m waiting for LeBron [James] to cut his shit, man … Snoop Dogg, too — let it go, my n-gga … Stephen A. Smith. Lotta n-ggas need to come to the dark side, man.”
In the same interview, Starr made a case for Sticky Fingaz being included on Billboard and VIBE’s Top 50 Rappers of All Time list for “bodying” Eminem on the track, “Remember Me?” It remains highly contested as one of the few times the Detroit MC had a featured artist outdo him on his own song.
“I don’t know who made this list,” Fredro said. “Listen, I ain’t gotta be on the list, I know I’m nicer than a lot of the n-ggas on the list. I know that, but Sticky Fingaz not on the best 50 rappers is kinda bugged out to me. Jadakiss was like 46. 46 out of 50? Jadakiss? Rick Ross was No. 50 on the list. Who wrote this list?
“I’m gonna speak up. That’s crazy, and Sticky not on the list? C’mon son. Sticky would burn half them n-ggas. I would burn half them n-ggas, but Stick is that dude. That’s why he’s on records with Eminem.”

He continued: “I think he bodied Eminem on that particular record. That’s just my opinion and I’m not being biased. I think Eminem put that competitive thing inside of Sticky and he came out with one of the illest verses ever, and Eminem brought that outta him.
“You saying Eminem is one of the best rappers ever? The n-gga rocking the Onyx shirt in that documentary? ‘Sticky one of my favorite rappers,’ he’s always saying that. So if he’s part of his favorite rappers, how he not on the 50 list? We should let Eminem write the 50 list.”
