50 Cent has celebrated BMF getting renewed for a fourth season by STARZ just days after Big Meech saw his prison sentence reduced.
As reported earlier this week, the Black Mafia Family co-founder is now set to be freed by 2025 after initially being handed a 30-year sentence in 2008 for drug trafficking.

50’s series BMF is based on the rise of the criminal organization in the ’80s and ’90s, and the G-Unit mogul has welcomed his run at STARZ being extended.
Fif wrote on Instagram on Thursday (February 29): “You know the vibes season 4 [bomb emoji] on the way. It’s only gonna get bigger and better but catch season 3.”

He also shared a video from Power star Gianni Paolo, who could be seen promoting the season three premiere of BMF over a backdrop of a news article about Meech’s reduced sentence.
Paolo said: “I just wanna say I’m super excited for the best show on STARZ to be back — BMF. Season three airs March 1st and I’m just so excited to see it.”

He then joked: “It’s way, way better than Power. I don’t even like Power. I’m just here for a paycheck. I’d rather be on BMF.”
50 added in the caption: “LOL GLG GreenLightGang we all on the same team. We been #1 In African American and Latina households for 11years. @giannivpaolo is just different!”
Though 50 Cent didn’t directly comment on Big Meech’s sentence being reduced, it is good news for the former gang leader who has long sought to have his time in prison commuted.
The former crime boss’ attorney, Brittany K. Barnett, was able to have 32 months trimmed off his punishment thanks to Amendment 821 of the United States Criminal Code, emphasizing his rehabilitation after he was found guilty of large-scale drug trafficking and money laundering.
In summary, she argued that since the ex-BMF leader has been nothing short of a model citizen while serving time — getting his GED, doing well in his other prison classes and staying out of trouble behind bars — he’s earned credit for his sentence under the U.S.S.G. (United States Sentencing Guidelines) Amendment 782 and should therefore be released earlier.
In BMF, Big Meech is played by his own son, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. The show has featured guest appearances from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Eminem and 2 Chainz.
