21 Savage and SZA have topped the list of nominees for the upcoming iHeartRadio Awards, nabbing a total of eight nods, leading among Hip Hop and R&B artists, respectively.

On Thursday (January 18), iHeart Media announced the nominations, which include a total of seven brand new categories. Taylor Swift also picked up eight nominations across the board.

The Collaboration Of The Year category finds three of 21 Savage’s 2023 hits — “Rich Flex” with Drake, Metro Boomin‘s “Creepin,” and “Good Good” alongside Usher & Summer Walker — competing against tracks by Lil Durk, Nicki Minaj and GloRilla, to name a few.

The Slaughtergang boss is also nominated for Song of the Year, Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, and twice for R&B Song of the Year.

SZA, on the other hand, beat out Beyoncé as the most nominated R&B artist, picking up nominations for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Music Video, among others. The TDE songbird also picked up nominations for Pop Song of the Year and Pop Artist of the Year, which are both new categories in 2024.

On the Hip Hop side of things, Doja Cat came in second to the “Spin Bout U” rapper with six nominations of her own, including three that put her up against SZA.  Beyoncé locked in a total of four nominations, and an indirect bonus nod, with her photographer Mason Pool up for the fan-voted Favorite Tour Photographer category.

Other Hip Hop and R&B artists up for a chance to take home a 2024 iHeartRadio Music Award are Chris Brown, Coco Jones, Fridayy, Gunna, Ice Spice, Lil Uzi Vert, Lola Brooke, Sexyy Red, Victoria Monét, and Young Nudy.

This year, the iHeartRadio Music Awards — which will air live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 1st — will also allow fans the opportunity to weigh in on nine categories including Best Lyrics, Best Fan Army, TikTok Bop of the Year, and Best Debut Album. First up on the 2024 music awards circuit, however, are the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, which take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on February 4, 2024.
