21 Savage has gone back to his roots and shone a light on the so-called “real” London with a gritty video for his new song “Redrum.”
The visual, taken from his new album American Dream, starts off with a number of clips of stereotypical British culture such as Buckingham Palace, red telephone boxes and a full English breakfast before cutting to shots of council estates.
Directed by Danny Seth, the video then shows 21 hanging out with his U.K. bredren, sitting in the back of a Maybach and riding a motorbike alongside biker gangs.
Watch it below.
21 Savage only recently returned to the U.K. for the first time in two decades after moving to the U.S. at the age of seven.
Following his immigration issues in which it was revealed that Savage was actually born in London, the rapper was not allowed to leave the U.S. until he received a green card last October.

21 Savage’s new album American Dream dropped earlier today (January 12) and features collaborations with Travis Scott, Metro Boomin, Lil Durk, Doja Cat and the currently incarcerated Young Thug.
The album also features a verse which seemingly addresses Thug’s RICO trial and the ongoing fallout from Gunna accepting a plea deal.

On the track “letter to my brudda,” 21 appears to take a shot at Gunna, who has been accused of snitching on his YSL labelmate in the ongoing case.
He raps: “Once you cross that line, it ain’t no tryin’ to fix it/ You want me to forgive you, let’s be realistic/ I can’t kick it with your kind like I tore my meniscus.
