21 Savage is all set to bring his latest album to the stage, and he has recruited some of Hip Hop’s finest to assist him along the way.
On Tuesday (February 27), the London-born, Atlanta-raised rap star announced the American Dream Tour with guests JID, Nardo Wick and 21 Lil Harold.

The 30-date trek will commence this summer and cover major cities in the United States and Canada over the course of a month and a half.
Things get underway on May 1 in Vancouver before making stops in Seattle, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago and New York City, among other markets.

The excursion wraps up on June 15 in 21 and JID’s hometown of Atlanta at the Lakewood Amphitheater.

The tour comes in support of 21 Savage’s third studio album American Dream which was released in January, almost six years after his last solo offering.
The 15-track project boasted appearances from heavy hitters like Travis Scott, Metro Boomin, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Doja Cat, as well as Summer Walker, Brent Faiyaz and Burna Boy.

Its star studded cast helped propel it to the top of the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 133,000, marking the largest sales tally of 21’s career as a solo artist.
In a 3.5 out of 5 review of the album, HipHopDX‘s Will Schube wrote: “The dead-eyed nihilism of Savage Mode is almost entirely gone, and even the victory lap theatrics of i am > i was don’t really appear. There’s no need for gimmicks like on Issa Album or Savage Mode II.
“Instead, American Dream is 21 Savage at his most deeply intimate, treating the recording booth like a diary, examining his life and career from a 30,000 foot view.”
He continued: “Savage isn’t bitter on his latest offering, but he knows his worth; his family has worked too long and too hard for him to slip up or be taken advantage of. On ‘letter to my brudda,’ which features a crisp soul sample and shimmering organ-like synths, 21 raps: ‘I watched everybody turn on my brother like he ain’t have them out here flying jets and fucking bitches.’

“A bit later on the cut, during the interlude, 21 explains it as explicitly as ever before: ‘You know, we be coming from, like, the worst conditions, the worst circumstances/ The trenches, the gutter/ And sometimes we be forced to make decisions that we don’t even wanna make.’ This is American Dream at its best. More often than not, 21 operates in this mode.”
