TiaCorine has come a long way from being a shift manager at Bojangles to becoming one of rap music’s artists on the rise. In fact, her song and video “Bo Time,” filmed at a local Bojangles, was released in mid-September and has amassed over 1 million views. A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, she burst on the scene after graduating from Winston-Salem State University with a degree in Exercise Physiology. Her single “Lotto” earned major play in the clubs and eventually was her first breakthrough hit. She went on to release her EP titled 34 Corine and followed it up with a deluxe EP titled The Saga of 34Corine. Her buzz caught the attention of South Coast Music Group who signed her to a deal. A lover of anime, her next project I Can’t Wait, features TiaCorine dressed like Sora from Kingdom Hearts, showing the gamut of her creative artistry. Without question, TiaCorine will carry on the rich rap tradition of North Carolina as she continues to be a game-changing rapper.
