Initially introduced to the entertainment world as half of brotherly duo Rae Sremmurd, Tupelo, Mississippi native Swae Lee signed to Mike Will Made It's label EarDrummers Entertainment with his brother Slim Jxmmi in 2013. As 36x platinum selling artists, the pair decided to do a semi-solo journey in 2018. Swae Lee built a name for himself as a solo artist with his debut solo album Swaecation. Swaecation was a part of a trilogy containing two other albums by Slim Jxmmi and Rae Sremmurd as a whole. Swae Lee’s solo journey was solidified with singles like French Montana’s “Unforgettable” which is now 9x platinum. He also featured on Post Malone’s renowned Spiderman: Into The Spider-Verse soundtrack song called “Sunflower” which is 11x platinum.
