Native to Louisville, Kentucky, EST Gee began his music journey with his debut mixtape El Toro, which was released in 2019. However, he really started gaining national attention with his feature on Lil Baby’s 2021 single “Real As It Gets.” His fifth mixtape, Bigger Than Life or Death, was released in July 2021 and contained Billboard Hot 100 charting songs like “Lick Back” and “5500 Degrees." That mixtape peaked at number 7 on Billboard 200. He eventually signed to Yo Gotti’s CMG label and released the next installment in his series, Bigger Than Life or Death Pt. 2. Both installments were followed up with a Bigger Than Life or Death deluxe version.
