HipHopDX Premiere: Burgeoning Los Angeles rapper Carpe Diem has enlisted West Coast OG Kokane for his new “Drinks & Doja” video. Produced by Paupa & Koast, the straightforward track finds the two MCs spitting about — yep! — drinks and doja.
The song comes from Carpe Diem’s recent mixtape, Retro, which is hosted by Supastar J. Kwik.
The up-and-coming artist released his first single, “Stuck In My Ways,” last July and racked up one million streams in a week, capturing the attention of Shade 45’s DJ Kay Slay.
