HipHopDX Premiere: As the follow-up to “Warrior’z Way,” which was the theme song for the MMA film The Hurt Business, Connecticut native Quan has resurfaced with another video for the track “Tainted.” The song serves as the lead single from Quan’s forthcoming album, Point Of No Return.
“The song speaks about how I been around the street shit all my life, so much that it became a natural part of my everyday life,” Quan explains to HipHopDX. “[It touches on] how hard it was trying to separate from it, and the consequences of those choices. I just thank God that I don’t look like all I’ve done and been through. Because if I did, I don’t think I could live with what I saw. Life in art. Art in life.”
Quan rose to notoriety after his 2005 single with Nas, “Just A Moment.” He’s been grinding ever since. Watch his latest above.
