HipHopDX Premiere: Hillside, New Jersey MC Beneficence has recruited the hardworking AG of D.I.T.C. fame for the new video “Smooth Hardcore,” a chilled out boom bap journey. Produced by the UK-based duo Jazz Spastiks, the song was taken from his 2016 critically acclaimed Basement Chemistry LP. Visually, it quickly becomes clear that Beneficence’s work ethic and desire to stay true to the roots of the culture is at the crux of everything he does. Basement Chemistry also includes features from the likes of MC Eiht, Inspectah Deck, Masta Ace, Dres (of Black Sheep), Chubb Rock and El Da Sensei.
