West Coast MC Quiz is still riding high after the release of his new project, You’re Not Alone, which was crafted by the production team, The Teamsterz. After releasing “Need In Ya Life” as a single, Quiz returns with a sensual visual to match the lyrics. The contagious song is yet another promising sign for the rising MC.
In an interview with DX Senior Features Writer Ural Garrett, Quiz explained how he got his start in music. “90’s Hip Hop inspired me to start,” he said. “Not only was it visually appealing, but it seemed like they got paid to tell their story and command attention with it. My pops owned a record shop and would bring home instrumental tapes and that’s how I started writing. What inspires me to keep going is I feel Hip Hop lacks genuine, honesty and vulnerability with masculinity so I feel I’d rather bring that presence then complain about it.”
