M-Dot is back with another leak from the upcoming album egO anD The eneMy titled “Give It To Me.” The video for the track finds M-Dot and his visual team taking the song to new heights both literally and aesthetically.

Almost a year after the release of the innovative and interactive 360° experience for “123 Flow,” director Victor Keys and M-Dot have offered up an imaginative twist on 360°. While on tour in Northern California, the two created the “Give It To Me” video with shots using seven different GoPro cameras. The visuals showcase various parts of the trip including radio station interviews, an appearance at G Koop’s Fuzz Deluxxe Studio, a quick visit to a skate park, elevated Pacific Coast views, bridges crossed, downtown San Francisco, and other palm tree laden streets around the Bay Area.

“When I wrote the track I had a lot of built up angst that I felt needed to be poured out,” M-Dot said in a press release. “I’ve felt a chip on my shoulder my whole life, most of the time it’s something I created, the “enemy” of course symbolic of pride, in order to feed myself fuel to work harder. Nevertheless, if respect wasn’t given, this song was evoking my sentiment that it be taken or earned one way or another. As far as the video goes, our main goal was to avoid doing anything like the first 360° we did. To us, it’s all about growth and it would be lame to repeat the same formula. Was a super fun shoot, albeit most people laughing at me I’m sure as I walked through Oakland streets strapped with a stick device that held the seven Go-Pros [laughs].”

M-Dot’s new album is set for a January 27, 2017 release. Watch “Give It To Me” in all its glory above.
