Fresh off his musical appearance on FX’s hit show, Atlanta, 20-year old rapper and songwriter Daye Jack drops another visual off the Surf The Web EP for the impossibly infectious single, “Bullshit.” Directed by David Gallardo, the themes are technology and challenging society’s standards of “cool.”
“We’re all connected now and it’s easy to go through the motions and hit all the bullet points to be accepted, but what really wins is doing shit your own way and not being about the bullshit,” Daye Jack said in a press release.
Currently on the road with Watsky, Jack is having an extremely productive year. In addition to Atlanta, his music has appeared on an episode of Empire and Monday Night Football, and he routinely works with producer Mike Elizondo (Dr. Dre, Fiona Apple). The Nigerian-born New York University Computer Science student is clearly just getting started. Watch the video above.
