Backed by nothing but a piano, Mick Jenkins sang his heart out during a performance on BBC Radio 1’s Piano Sessions, where he covered Jill Scott’s soulful ballad, “It’s Love” in support of his recent album, The Healing Component. He also did a stripped down rendition of “Fucked Up Outro,” which he delivers in more of a spoken word style.
