With Common‘s highly anticipated album, Black America Again, officially out in the stratosphere, the buzz surrounding its release is as loud as ever. In celebration of the event, the Chicago Hip Hop vet has shared a 21-minute short film named after the title track, which functions as a cross-section of Chicago’s Black community. Along with stunning portraits shot in black and white, the visual also captures Common rapping along to a djembe drum about social injustices in the middle of a street.
