Directed by Charlie Black, the visuals for Hi-Tone’s “Fear” puts the California rapper in the hospital, where he is seeking help for a drug overdose as his family sits anxiously in the waiting room anticipating the outcome. Although he’s filmed wearing a hospital gown and rapping from his hospital bed, he recorded the verse at a point when he was already two months sober.
The video comes after “Purpose” and “Selfish,” all taken from his recent album, No Xanax Needed, which revolves around his struggles with drug abuse, anxiety and depression.
