During an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Nas and Erykah Badu did an emotionally charged rendition of “This Bitter Land” from the film, The Land. Ms. Badu, dressed in all beige attire and hair down to her knees, belted out her heartfelt lyrics while Nas rapped behind a pair of sunglasses. The prominent duo delivered a flawless performance backed by an entire string section.

The Land, which was released in August, tells the tale of four teenage boys who spend an entire summer trying to evade the streets of Cleveland, Ohio in an effort to become professional skateboarders. When they get caught in the tangled web of the local Queen-pin, however, their brotherhood is put to the test. The soundtrack also includes artists like Pusha T, Jeremih, French Montana, and Kanye West.
