Canon doesn’t take his fans for granted and has even penned the song “The Family” in their honor. The track can be found on his new album, Loose Canon Vol. 3, slated for a November 4 release on Reflection Music Group.
In the music video directed by Will Thomas, Canon features dozens of social media selfies taken with fans.
“‘The Family’ is me giving back to people who support me,” Canon explains. “A lot of the time, they’re not fans, they’re my family. Family cares about you. Your family supports you. Your family is down for you. Your family is going to show up when nobody else does. That’s what I call it when people come to my show. I have a career because of my family.”
Canon is especially appreciative of his listeners who encouraged him after he recovered from near-fatal injuries in 2014. When attempting to help a car accident victim, Canon accidentally jumped into a ravine and shattered his ankle, broke his jaw, and suffered a concussion.

“When it came to getting through that accident it was because of those prayers,” he says. “Who prays for you the most? Your family. Let me show the people that support me that I’m here for them and I appreciate everything they’ve done for me.”
