Recently, HipHopDX caught up with Dae Dae for our Up NeXt by DX feature. Hailing from America’s Hip Hop mecca, Atlanta-born Dae Dae currently has the #8 spot on urban radio “Wat U Mean (Aye, Aye, Aye).” Additionally, Dae Dae just made his debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. On Monday, Beats1 premiered the “Wat U Mean (Aye Aye Aye)” remix featuring Lil Yachty.
His 2016 debut mixtape, “4 Reasons,” is home to “Big Bankroll,” where he trades verses with Rich Homie Quan, and “Spend It,”- which received huge co-signs from Lil Wayne and 2Chainz when they jumped on the remix. With the support of legendary super-producer Nitti Beatz and 300 Entertainment, Dae Dae remains humble not losing sight of his positive, feel-good attitude that he pours into everything that he does.
