Watching Mistah F.A.B.’s derivative video for “6 Shots,” a critical commentary on police brutality, social unrest, and media bias, he makes you wonder how anyone could question the validity of Black Lives Matter. Interspersing news clips showing dozens of police brutality incidents with shots of him pleading in front of the Alameda County Courthouse, it’s evident that the recent murders of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile aren’t isolated incidents.
After rapping, “White America, when will this madness stop? / same situation, black victim, white cop / same scenario, six months later case dropped,” FAB adds, “This shit ain’t nothing new, Blacks been getting hung / just with no iPhones recording, with no Samsungs.”
Urging people to get involved to demand justice and changes, FAB warns, “Nothing changes if nothing changes.”
