David Banner releases the music video for “Black Fist,” off his most recent album The God Box.
David Banner has been a progressive champion for many and he continues to raise his voice for the unheard. With the influx of innocent black lives being taken by white law enforcement, the Ojun Kwon-directed short film turns its attention to a caucasian police officer who serves as the focal point. Getting pulled from his apartment, the officer is found guilty by David Banner and his associates and forced to face the consequences, as well as the numerous guiltless lives that were cut short, acting as a metaphor for punishment of the discriminatory behavior we’ve seen across the map.
