This may be the most enslaving joint yet from Brooklyn emcee Dama Nilz. The Coney Island native has laced just about every locale in the 5 Boroughs and is fresh off a solid SXSW. But in terms of sheer songwriting, “Semi Automatic” comes complete with an obsessive hook and a melody serene enough to mask the pain. The visual’s impressive, too. Dama calls this a “modern Thelma & Louise with a twist.” Let’s just say things work out better for these two beauties than it did for Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon.
