Returning amid the fruitful drop of his “Backflipz” single, Odali debuts the video compartment. The Queens-born rhymer teamed with FRESHPres as he rides through his hood; the cut is the first release from his brand new project entitled Drugs With Dani’s.
Odali shared:
I wrote “Backflipz” on Xanax and wanted to describe my thought patterns. Things that were going on currently at that point in time, and my overall outlook on the world. This is why the song touches on many subjects. Dani’s Pizza influenced me because it would be where I go after a drug binge during the day. I know this is an introductory stage in my music career and I am looking forward to dive in deeper to all of the subject matter covered on this record such as drug habits, education, and sociopolitical topics. My main influences growing up were Prodigy, Nas, and Wu-Tang.
