From Mohawke’s recent “Lantern” LP, “Indian Steps” features stirring vocals from Antony Hegarty and offers a compelling perspective about love. Bringing along German director Daniel Sannwald, the out of the ordinary visuals come from inspiration by Rodin’s The Kiss. The director shared:
“For the video I recreate that sculpture with two elderly bodies. It was very touching and moving to see two aging bodies in such an intimate way. I wanted to use them as a symbol of time but also to capture the beauty of such vulnerability.”
