OG Maco was awarded a spot in the “2015 XXL Freshman Class” this week, so in true OG Maco fashion, he dropped a video the following day. The raspy voiced trap rapper is surprisingly sincere on “15,” though. He could have dropped some cocky shit but he went in the opposite direction, again flipping what people might expect from the young, bleach blonde emcee.
Maco was feeling Miguel Brcker’s floaty instrumental when he recorded this, and he dives even further into his past in the “15” visual, clarifying the message of the song. Directed by CJCVM, viewers get a personal look at OG Maco’s “Movie” of a life – quick shots of his brother’s funeral and of his team working in the studio.
