A HipHopDX Premiere!
Noa James drops off his new 4-track EP, Three Bullets in a Golden Gun brought to you by Brick To Ya Face, engineered by CashOnly, featuring production by Aye Brook, Dxsko, Oasis Reserve and collaboration with Cam Gnarly.
When asked about the making of the EP, Noa stated, “after touring with Murs last fall, I realize I believe in myself so much that I’m no longer scared to come off as arrogant because I’ve become so confident in what I’m doing now and it’s all because of self-love.”
Aside from the more obvious nod to the Nintendo64 classic, 007: Golden Eye, Noa breaks down the symbolism of the album:
The golden gun is a symbol of me waking up, and gaining knowledge. The three bullets in my golden gun are (1) confidence and taking pride in the right things—things that will help me move forward in life, (2) knowledge of self, forgiveness and healing, (3) dreaming big and dreaming often—don’t be afraid to make dreams a reality because it’s very possible.
