The Bay Area gathers under one beat for a playa anthem. With Philthy Rich as the mastermind behind the collab, the emcees spew their boastful verses while unleashing feelings about the pimp game between a chopped up chorus. Produced by JuneOnnaBeat, “Statue of Liberty” is the latest release from Philthy Rich’s Real N*ggas Back In $tyle, which is available for pre-order and features guest appearances from Iamsu!, Young Dolph, Nef The Pharaoh, E-40, Jim Jones and more and production by 808 Mafia, Zaytoven, KC da Beatmonster, and more. This album, Real N*ggas Back In $tyle, will be the first of series of three albums with the same title.
Rich shared:
“Me and 40 got a good relationship, the hook is a quote he says in the song with Big Sean. I liked it and had someone make a beat based on it. E-40 reached out to me when I was in jail through my video director who had done videos for 40. He said that 40 said, ‘When you get home, I want to work with you,’ so when I came home and I ended up acting in one of his videos ‘Me and My Bitch’ and then he jumped on my album for the song ‘Feel’n Like Pac’ off my “Trip’n 4 Life”album.”
Real N*ggas Back In Style is due to release February 26.
