We asked Jay Blaze how the song came about:
“The inspiration for the song comes from, a night with my best friend and a couple of girls out in Hollywood. We were “L-I-T- that night thats all I can remember, the next day I got an email from NICE with the beat and I came up with the hook just thinking to myself ‘I’m still messed up from last night.’ (I was too “LIT” for Coachella which went down that same day).
So ROLL one and wrote the song on the car ride to Coachella or whenever!!! The rest as they say is history!”
