Ball is life. I come from The Midwest, where we compete to earn respect. First, it’s beating the hell out of each other in contact sports at a young age. Then, it’s in the classroom and the streets. If we make it through that, we work a minimum wage or trap job to save up enough money for college. This is for the heroes of the hardwood, whether they hoop or not.
The Hustle is about power moves but also finesse. Since re-launching my publishing and production house Basement Made, I’ve premiered a handful of records from assorted parts of the album. The next EP (of many) follows a different theme, and drops with another video. Chapter II: Double Major is due out this year.
