Music is a timeless art form that opens a gateway of possibilities. Fans are still in mourning of the recent loss of one of Brooklyn’s most legendary emcees in Sean Price. From social media posts, to playlists of Sean Price songs, to local graffiti murals in New York the fans have found ways to respond to the death of the BootCamp/DuckDown rapper. Even his younger cousin Marvelous Mag has found a way to deal with his death. Mag recently released a tribute track titled “#RIPSeanPrice.” Mag takes the time to pay homage to the fallen BootCamp solider:
Marvelous explains to us that his entire style came from The Bootcamp, from the melodic hooks, to the Conversation style of rhyming, to being playful on adlibs, to always making a point when you lyrically speak even down to the beats he chooses. “Sean Price played a huge part in my life, in music, in my growth and understanding being from Brownsville.”
