In 2000 a young cat blossomed on the scene and struck the hearts of little girls across the nation. Zane dropped Young World: The Future and spawned a couple of hit singles. Heavy rotation on BET gave this young’n the spotlight he was after. Zane followed up with appearances in movies with Sean Connery in “Finding Forrester” and also with Eddie Murphy in “Dr Doolittle2.” Now Zane , who has dropped the “Lil” from his name has released his sophomore effort The Big Zane Theory. The first single “I’m All Yours” featuring Blackground recording artist Tank is already in big dog status rotation on video and radio nationwide.

Zane has been known for his voice because of it’s similarities to Tupac but as we all know no one is Pac. Zane is his own man and his latest release proves just that. He is growing up and plans to make the world notice that. On “Shake It” Zane flows with a speedy style that compliments the bouncy club track.

Zane also employs the talents of Envyi from the early 90’s group KP and Envyi and the two of them team up on two tracks that both have radio presence. “Do It Don’t Stop” is a display of Zane at his grown up best. This kid is talking about Movies, Rap and Real Estate. So basically, he’s conquering it all. He actually has a lil’ grimey street flow on the track too. On “Come Runnin'” Zane once again shows his sensitive side to the delight of the young girls who love him.

Even thought he drop the Lil’ off of his name he still uses it on “Lil Zane” and flows nicely over a keys, heavy bass and various sounds driven track, this could be another hit for Zane as well.
