T.I. has made it clear there is no longer any beef between him and Boosie Badazz — it was only a miscommunication, according to the Atlanta rapper.
The pair had plans to put out a joint project together, but it got scrapped after Boosie called the Atlanta rapper out for admitting to pinning a gun case on his dead relative before his career took off in the early ’00s.

TMZcaught up with the Atlanta hitmaker this week, where he admitted the beef between him and Boosie was over because it was clear that “someone misspoke.”
“It was a misunderstanding,” T.I. said, before adding that Boosie knew his statements had some inaccuracies. He then said the situation would be handled “offline,” which is “the way it should’ve been in the first place.”
The fallout between the pair began after a clip resurfaced from an August 2020 episode of T.I.’s expediTIously podcast, where Tip recalled an incident involving him and his late cousin, Toot.
As T.I. explained, he and Toot were running a hustle in their native Atlanta involving stolen upscale clothes when they were pulled over by cops, who discovered a gun in Tip’s possession.

Toot — who introduced T.I. to DJ Toomp, the producer behind hits like “What You Know,” “24’s” and “U Don’t Know Me” — was murdered during the court case. At the urging of his lawyer — and with Toot’s posthumous blessing — Tip avoided incarceration by claiming the gun belonged to his cousin.
“We caught those gun cases, Toot died. My lawyer said, ‘Well, you know, I could make everything go away if it was Toot’s, it was Tremel’s,'” he said in an Instagram post last month. “After he had passed, I had a talk with him. Toot said, ‘I’ll take all the charges you got! If you can walk away free and put it on me, goddamn right! ‘Cause I’ll be damned if they gon’ come and muthafuckin’ extradite me from here!’

However, Boosie disagreed with the Trouble Man rapper and calling him a “fucking rat” before scrapping their joint album.
“With the T.I. situation, if he did that – you a fucking rat too,” Boosie told VLAD TV last month. “I don’t spare no muthafuckin’ body. Because if you doing anything wrong, you doing anything criminal and you cooperate with law enforcement to get you out of trouble – that means you’re cooperating. That means you’re a rat.”
The comments didn’t go over so well T.I., who told the rapper to “pull up” on him. The snitching spat then reached a boiling point after Boosie decided not to attend T.I.’s “paperwork party,” held at the Trap City Cafe in Atlanta, where he was seen waving around a court document allegedly proving he didn’t snitch on his cousin.
T.I. noted Boosie’s notable absence, speculating that he was ducking his invite to “straighten” things out.

“Everybody got some paperwork to show me? I got some paperwork to show them,” he said. “If y’all leave up out this muthafucka, please let a muthafucka know that the paperwork was present. And if they wasn’t here, they shouldn’t be saying a muthafuckin’ thing about the King, you hear me?
