Snoop Dogg has shared his hilarious reaction to a bizarre “Gin & Juice” AI rendition that features a mash-up of a signature song from The Jungle Book.

Tha Doggfather reacted to the odd combination in an Instagram video on Monday (May 15), which intersperses his 1993 Doggystyle hit with the Disney film’s singalong song “The Bare Necessities.”

While at first Snoop doesn’t seem to be feeling the remix, he eventually starts to mouth along to his not-so-kid-friendly lyrics as he begins to get in groove with the off-putting combination of songs.

He tagged longtime collaborator and producer FredWreck, and offered a flurry of emojis in approval that included a laughing face.

Snoop Dogg has made it his hobby in recent weeks to unearth strange AI remixes. He previously shared an AI Michael Jackson doing a cover of C-Murder’s “Down 4 My N’s,” which he was not a fan of.

“This shit is outta hand,” Snoop exclaimed in the post, adding in the caption: “Wow” as an AI MJ raps along to the 1999 hit.

Snoop is far from the only Hip Hop figure who isn’t feeling AI voice technology. In March, an AI-generated JAY-Z verse went viral and in turn sparked concern from Young Guru9th Wonder and DJ Clark Kent.

Hov’s esteemed engineer shared the digitally-generated vocals on Instagram, which sound almost indistinguishable to the Roc Nation mogul. That was enough for Guru to sound the alarm bells for where AI is heading.

“I’ve been trying to tell everyone that this is where we are now with AI. For some reason this one got everyone’s attention. So what do we do. On one hand I’m well aware that you can’t stop technology. Once the genie is out of the box you can put him back in,” Guru wrote.

“On the other hand we have to protect the rights of the artist. Not only artist but everyone in society. People should not be able to take your Name, Image and Likeness without permission. We have to add the voice to this law.

He continued: “We have to learn from past mistakes. You would be a fool to chase every person that is going to do this. We learned that lesson with Napster. The only way I see to deal with it is to change the law. There are so many different opinions. We could change the United States law tomorrow but the internet is world wide. What a time we live in!!”

In other Snoop Dogg news, he’s one of several rap legends partnering with Audible to create their own programs in honor of Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary. The West Coast legend will kick off the series on June 15 with Words + Music, where he will discuss his journey from growing up in Long Beach to achieving global fame.
