Post Malone has hit a roadblock in his partnership with Raising Cane’s, the fast-food restaurant chain specializing in chicken fingers, following the theft of some limited edition merch.

According to a police report filed with the Houston Police Department on Thursday (June 22), a Texas-based Raising Cane’s came up short 246 special edition cups, three Dawn soap dish containers, and three griddle cleaning pads.

Drawing inspiration from Posty’s tattoos and iconic stage presence, the cups are designed to be a four-part collection and exclusively come with the “Post-Up” combo meal. The value listed for all the stolen items was just over $6,233.

Earlier this month, Post Malone voiced his excitement related to the signature drinkware. “Collaborating with Todd and being part of the Raising Cane’s brand with our collab restaurant and signature cups has been a fun experience,” Posty said in a news release at the time. “I can’t wait for fans across the country to ‘Post Up’ their combos, see these cups in person, and build out their signature Posty cup collection.”

Meanwhile, in April, the hitmaker attended the opening of a Raising Cane’s restaurant in Midvale, Utah, where he helped unveil the pink location he helped design, complete with memorabilia from the rapper’s collection.

“Post and I not only have a special friendship, but we are fans of each other’s brand, and we are excited to reveal this Post Malone designed Raising Cane’s,” Todd Graves, Raising Cane’s Founder, said in a statement.

“This collaboration goes above and beyond to combine Post’s legendary vision with our award-winning Chicken Fingers. It’s over the top – something the restaurant industry has never seen to this level. I can’t wait for fans to visit the location and order their meal the “Posty Way.’”

The location stocks the aforementioned exclusive cups and other merchandise, including a Post Malone-themed vending machine.

“I have the best childhood memories of eating at Raising Cane’s in Dallas,” Post added in his own statement. “Collaborating with Todd on this restaurant near my house in Utah was awesome and I can’t wait for everyone to order their meal the ‘Posty Way’.”
