Nicki and Remy have traded various shots over the years, which was most apparent in 2017.

Among those was Nicki’s verse on Gucci Mane‘s “Make Love,” where she called out an unnamed rival’s album sales.

This prompted Remy Ma to respond with “ShETHER,” an almost seven-minute diss track over the instrumental for Nas‘ famous JAY-Z diss track, “Ether.”

However, by November of that year, Remy Ma claimed that she was past the beef while denying her “Wake Me Up” collaboration with Lil Kim was a diss aimed at Nicki.

“You hear the record,” she said. “I don’t understand how many times I have to tell people like … I have no problem calling people out by name. I don’t. I’m so over that. I’m past that.

“I’m like in a good space, like I feel like everything that happened, everything happens for a reason. Right now, what I’m doing right now is what the record is. It’s just a dope record.”
