Meghan Trainor just released a new song that features T-Pain titled “Been Like This,” and she’s so grateful for the collaboration that she paid for a full-page ad in an Atlanta newspaper to thank him.
In a video shared to his TikTok account on Monday (March 18), an incredulous Pain read the ad aloud in amazement.

“This is the craziest thing that anybody’s ever done. Period,” he said. “I have a song with Meghan Trainor — it just came out yesterday — and Meghan Trainor took out a full-page ad in the Atlanta newspaper to say thank you to me.
“Look,” he added, holding up a copy of the paper. “It’s the actual freaking newspaper bro. ‘This letter of appreciation is for the one and only T-Pain. The first time I heard your music, I knew I had found my favorite artist of all time. Your musicality and lyrics blew my mind. Rhyming ‘Wisconsin’ and ‘mansion’ is expert-level songwriting and it motivated me to no end.

The new collab arrived soon after T-Pain revealed he’s happier than he’s ever been in his career.
Taking to Instagram to promote his new song “Dreaming” last month, he added to the positive vibes of the song by explaining to his supporters why he’s been feeling so good of late.
“Am I overall happy? My n-gga, absolutely,” he affirmed in a video. “This about the happiest I done been in the last…a lot. I been very, very sad and fucked up for a long time. But my wife has been there for me a lot. But you know, career wise?
“If you’re talking about career wise, happiest I ever been. I’m actually in control. I got a good team around me. Yeah, I’m happy as shit.”
