Lil Uzi Vert had no problem sharing his strong opinions regarding Lil Baby‘s music at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards this year.
In a clip that surfaced online this week, Uzi was asked who he was most excited to see on the night. The Philly rapper wasted no time sharing his love of Lil Baby’s catalog. “It’s going to be great,” he said.

Later on, when questioned about the track he would want perform with the QC rapper, if he had to choose between his music catalog or Lil Baby’s, the “Money Longer” hitmaker said 28-year-old rapper has “a lot of great songs,” and that the Atlanta rapper is the clear choice.
“I’ve never heard a bad from Lil Baby in my life (pauses), ever,” he said.
Uzi also revealed that he and the “In A Minute” rapper have collaborated on an unreleased track and said he would love to perform it with him if he got the chance. However, when it came time for Lil Uzi Vert to hit the stage that night, the rapper ended up performing his hit single “Just Wanna Rock.”
But before the rapper could blaze the stage, he was hit with a cool batch of slime while trying to amp up the crowd with hosts Nate Burleson and Chari D’Amelio.

Uzi giving flowers to another artist didn’t stop there. During his set at Rolling Loud in California this weekend, Lil Uzi Vert previewed an unreleased track with Playboi Carti, where he raps: “Shout out to Carti, we don’t talk hardly, but that’s where my heart be.”
The rapper premiered another pair of tracks for the L.A. crowd, one featuring an assist from Future while the other saw him reference his relationship with City Girls rapper JT.
“I make a City Girl believe in Satan,” Uzi boasted on the latter, nodding to the internet conspiracy theories that claim he’s some kind of devil worshipper.
He also apologized for the delay behind his anticipated Pink Tape LP and revealed he’s putting the finishing touches on it.

“I do make y’all wait a long time for music and I’m so sorry. I thought that shit was cool before but that shit is lame,” he admitted. “I’m putting the final touches on Pink Tape and I promise — I made a lot of promises in my life, but this time I promise.”
It’s far from the first time Uzi has teased the imminent arrival of Pink Tape as he told HipHopDX the project was in its “mixing stages” as far back as August 2021.
