Kanye West, GLC, Talib Kweli and others have lent their talents to a new Hip Hop related project dedicated to raising funds for nonprofit and historic causes.

Stadium Entertainment, in conjunction with EMI have teamed up to release True To The Game, Volume 1. Proceeds from the sales of the album will benefit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.

West and GLC forge the way for the album with its leadoff single, “Big Screen.”

The current economic crisis prompted Stadium co-founders Camille Barbone and Gary Katz to get involved to ensure that various charitable organizations continue to operate.

“We are all pleased about the opportunity to work in tandem with EMI which will give our projects a broad audience and propel Stadium forward in its mission to create viable revenue streams and enhance the fundraising efforts of carefully selected philanthropic organizations.  Today’s economic crisis has created a drastic decline in contributions for so many charities who are suffering around the world. We understand that it’s important to help worthy non-profit organizations to support their goals to improve the lives of those in need,” the pair told DX.

True To The Game will be released this month and will also feature T-Pain, Rick Ross, Ray-J, Paul Wall, Snoop Dogg, and others.
