Last night (November 4th), the world
was introduced to their new President Elect, Barack Obama [click to read].
Before the polls were closed and the winner was announced, Crooked I revealed his thoughts on the
election exclusively to HipHopDX.
“In a nutshell, this
will be one of the most historic elections ever. We all know the kind of impact
the first African American President will have on the pages of U.S. history so
I’ll say no more than that.”
Crooked then
proceeded to speak on Obama
& McCain’s campaigns.
AD LOADING...
“Here’s what I look
at, Mr. Obama has put together a monstrous
fucking campaign. A four headed monster. Internet takeover, massive ground
operation, McDonald‘s like
advertising and fund raising on steroids. Obama
has branded himself like all rappers wish they could and managed to inspire at
the same time. Mr. McCain on the
other hand has fumbled the ball in key situations and that is bad news for
somebody handcuffed to Bush. On the
campaign trail, McCain has said shit
almost as dumb as SouljaBoy‘s shout out to the slave masters. He’s
outta touch. Sarah Palin, enough said.”
November 4th also served as the release date of Crooked I’s Block Obama 2 EP which features a guest
appearance from Knoc’Turnal and
production by Rick Rock.
“The Block Obama 2!
Digital EP for the streets! I started the Obama series for one reason, the West
Coast needs change, that’s it. All I want to do is take the new era of West
Coast hip hop to the same level the old era was on. C.O.B. forever!”Crooked I concludes.
The 8-track digital EP is available at all digital retailers; including iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, Napster, Emusic and all mobile carriers.
